The Kontur vase designed by Mette Kargo Hvid was part of her graduation production, the idea process, where Mette sat down and folded many strips of paper, and inspiration from textile crafts followed. "Flower Wheel" Kontur can be used as a flower pot, pen holder, storage tank. Even simply as a decoration is very eye-catching! "Kontur comes from my background as a textile designer, and it presents a simple yet versatile concept for a vase, inspired by intricate lace embellishments. Using my textile expertise in different ways, with I find it interesting to also think deeply about the multi-faceted potential offered by ancient craft traditions.
