The backing is a plain, milk-tea colored double-gauze fabric, also made in Taiwan. Both are soft, comfortable, and highly absorbent. Double-gauze is a fabric often used for baby clothing. Compared to regular cotton, double-gauze is exceptionally soft, gentle on the skin, and absorbs moisture more effectively. What's more, its characteristic is that it "becomes softer with every wash." It's ideal for gently wiping your face. Folded, it fits conveniently in your pocket for everyday use.
