All stages of production, from clay preparation and shaping to bisque firing, glazing, and final firing, are meticulously done by hand in our studio, equipped with a small electric kiln and electric potter's wheel. The base of the bowl has been carefully sanded to minimize any potential scratching of your table surfaces. We continuously explore new combinations of glazes and clays, creating a diverse range of pottery in various colors and shapes. To prevent this, we treat all our tableware with a food-safe sealant, so no pre-soaking (me-zome) is necessary before your first use. This sealing process takes 2-3 days, which is why we set the shipping period to 5 days from order placement.
