Kang Yazhu
Born and worked in Taipei, his works explore identity, the relationship between humans and nature, and social and environmental issues, involving mixed media sculptures, on-site installations, environmental art, painting and video, community cooperation, and fabric research. The work often reflects border themes related to life and death, yin and yang, identity and disguise, private and public, known and unknown, artificial and natural, drawing inspiration from travel experiences and the rich history of world weaving.
