One of the major attractions of each Pocket Game is its simplicity and uniqueness. The gameplay is straightforward and does not require learning or patience to play first. Tomy first released the series in 1975, which included six games: Pocket Pinball, Pocket Basketball, Pocket Pachinko, Pocket Raceway, Pocket Basketball, and Pocket Soccer. The success of sales prompted Tomy to add two new games, Time's Up and Turn 'n Tilt, in 1977. Later, its product line expanded significantly to 24 different games in 1978.
