Beyond the Strings, Cherry Blossoms - Postcard & Bookmark Set

This is one of the pieces from "Grass Head Yellow's" first solo embroidery exhibition in 2018. 【Beyond the Strings, Cherry Blossoms】 recounts the artist's experiences and insights from several years of fundraising events for local stray animals, which were organized with friends through performances on the violin and other instruments. It also serves to promote the TNR initiative (Trap-Neuter-Return, a program for local stray animals) to everyone. The cherry blossoms depicted symbolize the neutered stray animals (referred to as "Sakura ear" in Japan), and the archery skills learned during a period of study in Japan, represent the mindset that the process of the experience holds greater importance than the outcome.
