This results in a unique and beautiful leather product, featuring a lovely pebble grain texture and a two-tone finish that creates a distinct and striking 3D effect on the strap's surface. **Lining Leather** The lining leather for the strap is a vegetable-tanned leather called "Buttero," also from Conceria Walpier. As this lining leather is in direct contact with the skin, we exclusively use the natural, undyed "Buttero" for its lining. **Strap Thickness** The strap measures approximately 2.5 mm in thickness. Vegetable-tanned leather accounts for only 20% of global leather production, with chrome-tanned leather making up the remaining 80%. Unfortunately, for the inexperienced eye, distinguishing it visually can be challenging. However, you can always trust your nose: vegetable-tanned leather possesses a rich, distinct aroma. Synthetic leathers made from plastic will certainly lack this unique "leather scent," a characteristic that is also nearly absent in leathers produced by other tanning methods.
