He once served as a part-time assistant professor at the university and a high school art teacher. Currently, he specializes in painting creation. In 2003, he won the first prize in oil painting at the Provincial Art Exhibition. In 2002 and 2003, he came third in the Provincial Public Education Art Exhibition. He has had many solo and group exhibitions. He has published "Sketch Lectures" in Lion Books and "Human Drawing Lectures" in Quanhua Books. The development of oil painting has a history of about six hundred years.
