Vintage US Army Night Desert Camouflage Fishtail Parka 80s 90s Gulf War – Medium
This unique grid camouflage pattern was produced in the 1980s by US Army and USMC to defeat the Vietnam era Soviet-produced night vision equipment but unfortunately, military night vision equipment of that period was considerably more sophisticated than the pattern had been designed to confuse, and production of the Night Desert pattern uniform was stopped by the mid-1990s. The camouflage scheme itself consists of a dark green "grid" design with small spots over a light olive green background.
Featuring a drawstring hood and waist. Buttoned front liner pockets with protective wind flap. Made in USA by Selma Apparel Corp. military contract. Owned by U.S. Marine Sergeant Millard of Weapon Company, 3rd Battalion, 23rd Marines.
This parka fits roughly like a men's Medium but please compare the measurements below to your favorite jacket, laid flat, before purchasing.
