Indigo dye, in particular, takes time to set (it stabilizes after about a year). For the first few washes, or when lightly soiled after sweating, simply hand wash with water. ◎ Gentle hand washing at home is recommended. When washing at home, hand wash gently in a separate basin with water or lukewarm water (around 30°C) mixed with a well-dissolved neutral detergent (e.g., delicate wash detergents like Ar*on or Ema*). Rinse gently twice, remove excess water with a towel (or spin for about 10 seconds), and dry in the shade. (The entire process takes about 2-3 minutes). ◎ Avoid using washing machines, dryers, or bleach. Iron on a medium setting with a pressing cloth. ◎ As plant-based dyes are natural, colors may gradually change with prolonged sun exposure, citrus juice, sweat, or the passage of time. ◎ Storing folded in direct light for extended periods can cause sun fading in the folded areas.
