For example, it might have been a 1.8-liter bottle of rice given as a celebration or a return gift. It had no set name and was called "fukuro" (bag), which was slurred to "fuguro." "FUGURO" is a recreation and remake of this old, traditional custom. The materials are kimono fabrics with auspicious patterns, carefully selected from thousands of kimonos sleeping in drawers. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted, with well-wishes for the happiness of the person holding it sewn into its very fabric. Two colors of thread are used to match the colors of the outer and lining fabrics.
