This results in a "lightness" and "softness," and we value its relaxed, natural texture that allows you to enjoy "aging" rather than "deterioration." As it's woven on shuttle looms over 100 years old in Kurashiki, occasional "weaving flaws" may appear, which might look like "fraying" at first glance. These are unavoidable with the use of old machinery. While we strive to minimize them through thorough factory inspections and careful fabric cutting, and by using them in less conspicuous areas if found, they cannot be entirely eliminated due to the nature of the machinery.
