Canyon terrain is exceptionally rare during a hike, as it is typically extremely difficult to access. Paths obscured by nature, shifting boulders and fallen trees, and dense undergrowth form layer upon layer of barriers, deterring approach and simultaneously protecting the pristine ecosystem within.
