The red-bellied tit is a small tit species endemic to Taiwan. Inhabits low to medium altitude mountainous areas. It mainly lives in the middle and upper layers of sparse broad-leaved forests. It also forages at the edge of woods or in shrubs. They would pick up ants and wipe them on their bodies. This is what is called an ant bath in the literature.
