We’ve crafted a classic yet modern long necklace by combining three different materials, along with a bracelet that serves as an adjuster, allowing for a triple-strand wear. To preserve the modern-classic aura emanating from the cut rectangular crystals, we experimented extensively with various material combinations before arriving at this final arrangement. While the modern-classic design was paramount, wearability is also essential. Thus, we considered subtle colors that lend themselves to everyday wear. After setting the piece aside for a day or two and reassessing, a process I often undertake, I will adjust the design over several months if it doesn't feel quite right, approaching it with fresh perspective. The understated beige mother-of-pearl and the slightly oval, off-beige freshwater pearls create a sense of calm. The end clasp utilizes a magnetic closure, similar in its cylindrical form to the crystals and mother-of-pearl. This ensures that when the bracelet is attached as an adjuster to form a triple strand, the silver color is not overly conspicuous. The style transforms with each way you wear it: as a single, double, or triple strand. Even as a triple strand, it offers a pleasing volume without being overpowering, making it a perfect complement to a crisp white shirt.
