→ Ru Ware Revered as the foremost of the Five Great Kilns of the Song Dynasty, Ru ware is celebrated for its lustrous glaze and a finish akin to solidified cream. Its understated elegance and refined beauty made it an unparalleled ceramic masterpiece of the Song era's fashionable taste. Our Ru porcelain exhibits a balanced iron content and carefully controlled reduction firing. The body presents a subtle grey hue, while the glaze shifts between sky blue and pale celadon under varying light. The iron-rimmed mouth offers a sense of earthy fusion with the glaze. The delicate crackles on the surface, resembling fish scales, deepen and become more lustrous upon contact with tea soup, revealing their enhanced texture. → Product Description The design concept behind the "Fang Yun Cup" by Zi Ran You Wen Chuang seamlessly blends traditional and modern elements. Its dimensions are designed to complement our Maze Filter Cup, offering a cohesive set for purchase and use. The straight cylindrical body conveys a sense of sleekness and directness. Its expansive, flat surface is ideal for showcasing the unique characteristics of various glazes, allowing each special quality to be fully appreciated. The slightly flared rim, a traditional cup form, has been cherished since antiquity. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the flared rim enhances functionality, making it more comfortable to drink from. This outward-sloping lip perfectly conforms to the contours of the mouth, allowing for a smooth sensation as the beverage glides into the palate. The square handle, another classic design element, has been reinterpreted. We've modified the traditional square handle with upper-flat, lower-sloping lines, creating a distinctive visual silhouette. The ear-shaped handle offers an ergonomic and comfortable grip. Our Fang Yun Cup, with its moderate 240ml capacity, is highly versatile for both tea brewing and single-serve coffee drip bags. A subtle detail is the angled crease on the inner wall, located around the 200ml mark, which provides an easy visual cue for capacity, making its use more intuitive. This design, with its large, flat, straight surface along the cup wall, has given our artisans greater freedom in their glaze work.
