Many are surprised to hear that paper can be washed, perhaps imagining it's due to a coating that makes it waterproof. The raw material for paper cloth, derived from tree bark, differs from standard paper. While regular paper processing breaks down bark into pulp, paper cloth retains the bark's long fibers. These long fibers are twisted into paper yarn, then woven into paper cloth. Finally, it's cut and sewn into various products. The preserved long fibers make paper cloth exceptionally resilient, offering excellent water washability, breathability, quick drying, and mildew resistance. Our paper cloth is made from FSC-certified plantation wood, is naturally biodegradable, and can be recycled. We hope more people will choose environmentally friendly materials like paper cloth.
