This is not a defect or dirt. This process enhances the copper's rust resistance, making it less prone to dark spots over time. The surface will also undergo basic polishing and finishing before shipment, neither of which affects the copper's integrity or the impression's quality. ❖ ◤Instructions for Use 1. Gather your tools: Hammer, wax sticks, lighter, alcohol lamp, baby oil (coat the copper seal with oil before use to prevent wax from sticking). 2. Break a wax stick into small pieces and place them in the spoon, filling it about 80% full. Light the alcohol lamp and heat until the wax melts (with slight bubbling). 3. Let the melted wax cool for a few tens of seconds after heating to prevent overheating, which can cause bubbles and an imperfect shape. 4. Slowly pour the wax onto the desired area. Press the wax seal vertically into the wax and hold for a few seconds before removing to create a beautiful wax seal. * Please perform this in a well-ventilated area at all times. * Be mindful that if the paper is too thin, the wax may stick to the back. It is recommended to use a glass or metal backing. * Each of our wax sticks can create approximately 6-7 seals, depending on the amount used by the individual.
