Wenshan Baozhong Tea

Xinbei Pinglin, located in the water source area of Greater Taipei and upstream of the Feicui Reservoir, is a well-known tea settlement in northern Taiwan. The mist-shrouded hilly terrain and pure water quality of Pinglin are quite suitable for the growth of tea trees. Wenshan Baozhong tea and Dongding oolong tea are the two most famous oolong teas in Taiwan. Baozhong tea is lightly fermented oolong tea with dark green strip-shaped outlook. After brewing, the liquor is honey yellow and light green, with smooth and sweet taste. The jasmine fragrance is the most charming feature of Baozhong tea. Only experienced tea farmers can master the withering craft to create Baozhong tea with jasmine note.
