Hair tie

This hair tie features Tsumami Zaiku, a traditional craft originating from Japan's mid-Edo period. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted. It is made by hand from over 100 individual components, with each part carefully attached to complete the design. The back is secured with adhesive to ensure the parts remain in place. The upper petals are all rendered with a soft touch. Only the bottom petals are firmly secured to prevent detachment. The elastic band is tied in a way that resists loosening, ensuring it stays put. The design allows for easy replacement of the elastic band should it stretch out (*^^*) The use of patterned fabric lends a beautiful finish.
