【Product Introduction】
The "Origin Series" showcases artist Chu Chen-Nan's interpretation of the genesis of life.
The themes blend abstract landscapes with calligraphic lines, conveying the myriad forms of natural scenery and the interplay between text and calligraphy. Mountains and rivers, so captivating, appear amidst the primordial cosmic vortex, the shimmering lake amidst mountain mists, micro-landscapes glimpsed among crashing waves and giant rocks, the enchanting hues of goose-yellow lakes, and the misty veil of rain. Vibrant spring awakens, fully expressed on soft, lustrous silk.
Text is the vessel of human thought, inheriting the wisdom and feelings of our life experiences. Can it truly and completely convey the intricate subtleties of human emotion? Capturing the fleeting thoughts that stir within the mind, allowing the cursive ink strokes to flow like silent, nourishing water through the body. When the silk scarf drapes upon you, it is as if you are adorned with millennia of human history and culture.
"Untitled"
Taroko Gorge, honed by hundreds of millions of years of nature's refinement, once submerged seabed reefs now emerge above the water. The stream imbues the cliff face with a soft yet resilient soul, inviting people to wander through the canyon and feel the symbiosis with nature.
Woven with textural ink lines, the shades of green and blue exude a sense of vastness and tranquility. The textural lines on the rock face resemble flowing water, carrying an intangible life force. Each silk scarf holds the essence of towering mountains; when it encircles you, it feels as if embraced by nature. Perhaps this is the earth's most gentle expression.
"Long flow of words"
Text is the carrier of human wisdom, and calligraphy is the essence of textual art. On an indigo base, the text intertwines in varying depths, like the rivers, lakes, and seas of nature, surging and roaring within. Cursive script flows with ink lines, seemingly merging with the fluidity of water.
One can faintly hear the voice of the characters, feel the warmth of the ink. Words emerge ceaselessly like flowing water, each character connected, transforming into a long stream, silently nourishing all, filled with the vitality of life.
"Green hills never grow old"
Quietly on the mountaintop, gazing at the boundless clouds in the distance, one feels the tranquility and expansiveness of time and space, boundless and self-generating. In his eyes, landscapes appear to recede, yet one is simultaneously within them. Humans and all things become one, experiencing that the "distance" expressed in landscape painting is not merely a measure of space, but a gauge of the heart and mind.
"the origin of the world"
Passing through busy city streets, amidst the throngs of people, buildings, and bustling traffic; walking amidst mountains and forests, surrounded by streams, vegetation, and the chirping of insects, one realizes they are merely a part of the world, and that the world cares for them in various forms. It is our starting point, and also our final destination.
"Mountain language three"
The still water of the lake shimmers like jewels, the mist rises, sublimates into clouds, forming rain, and the rain enters the mountains and forests, nourishing the earth. This is the earth's respiration, a language, an eternity.
