He graduated with a Master of Fine Arts from National Taiwan University of Arts and Lindenwood University in the United States. He has served as the chairman of the Chinese Calligraphy Society, the vice president of the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Seal Engraving Institute, and has been an artist-in-residence at the University of Taiwan Technology and Taipei Tech.
