Loewe silver velazquez handbag (⁎⁍̴̛ᴗ⁍̴̛⁎), 100% authentic vintage Spanish handmade product from the 80s-90s!
Snake bone series Oh, and it has to be. Silver. Snake. Bone. Yeah! If you are deeply into the second-hand pit, you must know it, the snake bone made popular by Korean stars!
But before it became popular, there was an urban legend that it was a mid-range bag in the second-hand world? I forgot what online article I saw saying this.
This statement is not necessarily true, because my first vintage bag was a snake bone bag! Suddenly, I fell in love with a snake bone bag at first sight.
The legendary feeling of love at first sight (so exaggerated...XD)! But it is true, and then I fell into the pit of medieval times and couldn't escape.
The rarest of the snake bone series is the Silver bone (calculated by the number of times it appears in the second-hand market, it should be rarer than Celine Planet...),
This is mainly because the materials used for Silver bone color matching are mostly special leathers, some of which are difficult to preserve and will be in extremely bad condition if not handled properly!
So besides being hard to find, the Silver bones you see are likely to be of very poor quality. Some are so poor that it would be a waste of shipping money to give them to you...
The two in my hands are definitely the best quality and rarest bags I have ever seen (the snake bone is easier to see in Kellybag, as well as gold and silver)!
The hand strap model is in much better condition than the shoulder strap model. The shoulder strap model (also on sale) is rarer than the hand strap model, but its condition is average so it is cheaper than the hand strap model.
This handle style comes in a small size, which is the first time I’ve seen it and luckily it’s in excellent condition (the best I’ve seen in this color combination)!
I have seen the same style in a large size (large briefcase size) before, but I didn’t buy it because it was in poor condition and it was troublesome to carry a large bag.
The color combination is very ambiguous, ink green and graphite black, just like the snake bone series is made of two completely different leather materials.
The edge and bottom of the bag are made of graphite black matte leather (I think it has a very iPhone feel, LOEWE is always ahead of the times!).
The bag body is made of ink green leather, which is between black and green. Under normal indoor light, you will see the ink green and green-black.
When it encounters sunlight, it becomes very dark green, which I call a deep green, just like the dark green hue in horror movies. It also has a flickering effect!
I really don't know how Loewe got this color and how the leather has glitter, and the glitter effect is not caused by glitter.
It's all caused by the refraction of light! I took a close-up shot and zoomed in, but I couldn't see any actual particles or glitter particles. It's magical.
It also has a color-changing effect! The second picture was taken in the sun, and the leather changes color due to the light. It changes between deep green and duck yellow green.
I think fountain pen lovers will be familiar with this shimmering deep green because it looks just like the ink in the shimmer series.
The effect of taking it out on the street is that as you walk, the bag will reflect different tones due to the light, and a slight flickering effect can be seen when the light is strong.
It is really hard to capture its uniqueness in photos, especially the deep green. I tried my best but still couldn’t capture it (feeling like a complete failure…)
I have never seen this leather color and sparkling effect on other brands. Loewe has really developed the possibilities of leather to the fullest.
Special reminder, this Silver bone needs regular maintenance (even the laziest ones should do it once a year, it's a must),
This is why it is difficult to find Silver bones in good condition in this color combination because this type of leather will dry and crack if not stored properly.
This handbag is really rare. Silver Silver bones and small bags are already very rare, and this one is in great condition! !
There is absolutely no chance that I will come across another one in the same condition. The Japanese seller also said that even at auctions, it has never appeared in such good condition!
I got to know LOEWE only after I got into it, and I was hooked after getting to know it... To be honest, LOEWE is my favorite brand now.
Anyone who is into second-hand items knows that “old is worse than new” and most second-hand items are of extremely high quality.
So high that even after so many years, it is still better than modern models! The craftsmanship and quality of raw materials are actually very different.
So if you just search online, you can find lots of complaints about the poor quality of new models from major brands... There are a lot of ptts!
LOEWE is a brand that can maintain a certain standard even if the quality of modern models has declined.
The main brand itself is focused on the quality of leather itself and the development of the possibilities of leather use.
My personal simple description is that LOEWE likes to develop technological possibilities from an artistic perspective.
In addition to the various uses of Nappa leather (such as small lucky bags), I also showed this less popular snake bone series.
The simple explanation of the Snake Bone series is that in the 1990s, the Olympics were held in Barcelona and the World Expo was held in Serbia.
Madrid was chosen as the European Capital of Culture and LOEWE designed it to promote Spanish culture. (Details by yourself)
So this series of designs is really special, it uses two completely different leather materials to make it look very exotic!
And the bold colors and contrasting colors create a strong visual impact! In fact, each snake bone bag is a work of art!
⚐⚑˒˒The bag is in very good condition. The common peeling of this kind of leather is not seen on it (that’s why I keep emphasizing its rare condition).
The dark lines on the leather of the bag are the grain of the leather itself, not cracks. The dark ink green leather also has a layer of glossy coating.
There are a few small flaws on the back of the bag (I jokingly said it looked like a black panther's necklace...), which were caused by the previous owner's hand pressing on it when it was storing it.
But this embossing is only on the back of the bag and it is not very deep (I took a few special photos, if they can’t be posted here, please send me a private message), and it cannot be seen when using it.
The bag has very little feeling of use, with no peeling or discoloration (except for its own discoloration effect...), and no major wear and tear.
The bottom is completely unworn. The uneven color seen in the photo is caused by the fact that I took the photo right after cleaning. There is no color unevenness at all on the actual product.
The four corners are only slightly worn at the tips but not peeled, you have to look very carefully to see. The sides and bottom are dark black leather.
The lining is satin embroidered with the brand name and logo. The satin embroidery is black and will shimmer in the light (you can only see it yourself...).
This model also has a special gray-black hardware buckle, which is not oxidized! It is a special configuration of this series.
The inside is like new. The zipper is smooth and the buckle is engraved with the brand name and logo.
The most important part is the Silver bone on the handle. The two rows of super heavy Silver bones have no Silver loss/oxidation problems, and no scratches! It looks like new!
It is definitely an eye-catching point at first sight! The overall appearance is very new and clean, except for a few dents on the back of the bag, there are no major flaws, and the feeling of use is very slight.
The price may not seem cheap, but a small bag of good quality gold snake bone usually costs more than TWD350,000/HKD10,000.
This is a Silver bone bag and a small rare model. The most important thing is that the color is good. If you like snake bones, you will understand whether it is worth it.
❍The photos were taken by the owner himself under sunlight. I especially took a lot of details and photos of the Silver bone. If you are interested, please send me a private message.

In fact, the main reason why the shop owner likes second-hand bags is that the leather materials of the old ones are better than the new ones now.
In the past, most second-hand items were handmade. There were no machines, only the warmth of handmade craftsmanship.
The craftsmanship of craftsmen from big brands is many times more delicate than that of machines, and every process is carefully crafted!
However, nowadays, most of the processes are already done by machines and then assembled manually, and the machine-made parts lack precision.
The most direct and easy way to see it is to use the old-fashioned ...
The level of detail in the old-fashioned pattern alone is completely different. If you like old-fashioned patterns, please look for used ones! Really!
In terms of style, the styles in the old era were relatively simple, timeless and durable. In fact, many new styles now are copies of old styles.
However, the new models are priced higher than the old ones, and the new designs are usually based on the old ones with additions or changes.
The final design will be more complicated than the old ones. I believe that as we grow older, we all understand one thing: the simpler, the longer it will last! !
The quality of raw materials for old models is better than that for new models. As long as you understand leather, you can see that most new models are inferior to old ones.
The main reason is that the cost of high-end raw materials is too high and the quantity is small, and many brands at that time had very high requirements for the finished products.
The easiest way to tell the difference between new and old hardware is to look at the hardware. Many new hardware will oxidize and change color after being used for about one or two years.
But old models usually don't, not only because of the high-quality raw materials and meticulous craftsmanship, the hardware parts of earlier models are plated with real K gold!
Therefore, even if the Vintage bags were produced as early as the 1960s and 1970s, the hardware is still shiny and bright today!
As far as I know, among the new models available now, no hardware is made of K gold among the brands I know.
Many people say that vintage bags are actually an alternative small investment. Basically, they rarely depreciate and only appreciate in value.
Because there are fewer and fewer second-hand bags in good condition on the market, so they will only become more and more expensive.
Moreover, some brands will raise their selling prices every once in a while, and each increase will drive up the prices in the used market.
In addition, Japanese and Korean artists like to use vintage products in recent years. Once a certain model is used by an artist, its price will skyrocket.
Or if a brand launches its own modified or reproduced model, the same style or similar styles will appreciate sharply in value!
Therefore, it is really true that the sooner you buy vintage items, the sooner you can enjoy them; if you buy them later, the price will go up (this is not just an advertising slogan…it is the truth in the vintage world…).
This is my personal experience. Many series store owners are also regretting that they got into the game too late... they can't find it, and even if they can find it, they can't afford the sky-high price...
Orders for used bags will also receive additional leather care oil ₍ᐢ.ˬ.ᐢ₎, which I use myself, so I give it in a small box as a gift.
Apply a small amount on the leather to clean and moisturize it, but you don’t have to apply it every time you pick up a bag. Just apply it every once in a while.
I am used to taking it out for maintenance when I tidy up my cabinets at the end of the season (so every change of season is a big project...|||).
Second-hand foreskin materials are of excellent quality. As long as they are not used roughly and are properly preserved, they can be used for another ten years and passed on to your daughter without any problems!
I collect every second-hand bag because I like it, so I hope you will like it too and hope to keep it☪︎ *.
