This is a 4-strand bracelet crafted by connecting antique multi-color green seed beads, old Indian silver charms, Mizoram carnelian, and clear beads. The green beads are old seed beads that traveled to India. Each strand exhibits a different hue, ranging from indigo blue to deep green. These were worn as adornments for many years, dating back to around the 19th-20th century. (Bead size: 2mm) The teardrop-shaped charm at the clasp is antique Indian silver, created between the 19th and early 20th century. Wearing it frequently is said to bring out a unique luster. It is believed to represent Hoi Mata, the mother goddess, symbolizing home safety and maternal love (likely). The wear on this piece adds to its distinctive charm, and its leaf-like shape is also quite lovely! (Charm size: 2cm length, 1.4cm width - including the loop) The orange beads are Mizoram carnelian, heirloom pieces from around the 18th century, originating from the Mizoram state in eastern India. They possess a rich expressiveness with their color variations! Being old, they bear some scratches. There is one shallow indentation. (Mizoram carnelian size: 0.9cm diameter) The clear round beads are likely antique beads from the Indian region, possibly Naga beads, dating from around the 19th century. Each small Karen silver bead on the clasp is individually engraved! It's quite astonishing to imagine each one being handcrafted. ◇ Karen Silver ◇ This silver is crafted by the hill tribes residing in tire Burma. It is said to be handmade and of very high purity. The loop of the clasp is adorned with amber-colored antique White Heart beads. The clasp itself is turquoise. (Turquoise size: 1.2cm diameter) Connected with waxed cord, it may feel a bit stiff initially but will become supple with wear.
