This is a double-strand bracelet connecting antique gold ruby white heart beads and ancient crystal. The deep red beads are antique beads called White Hearts, named for the white core (heart) at their center. These are beads from Venice, dating to around the 19th-20th century. The deep red color comes from the use of gold to achieve this hue, hence the term "gold ruby" white heart, a rare variety. We've linked together beads ranging from 2-4.5mm, varying in size, shape, and shade. The perfectly round ancient crystals come to us from Pakistan and are approximately 1500 years old, from the Roman era. While they bear marks of time, these imperfections contribute to their profound character. (Ancient Crystal Size: Width 0.5cm, Diameter 0.55cm) The golden beads are old Orissa brass, ancient and rare beads originating from the state of Orissa in India. The bell-like component near the clasp is old silver from India, also a rare find. Each small Karen silver bead on the clasp features a unique stamp!
