The new patented sounding mechanism produces sounds of three different pitches simultaneously so that a thick sound can be created with a simple castanet-like action. The size of each resonance space is calculated and designed to fit into a sphere with a diameter of 3.6 cm using modeling software (3D-CAD). The sphere is roughly carved from natural wood using a digital engraving machine, then carefully polished by hand and coated with a thin layer of beeswax, a natural material, to protect the surface without compromising the texture of the natural wood. The sound is loud and clear for its size. Comes with a sturdy deerskin strap for hanging. The hanging length is adjustable from about 10cm to 38cm. How to adjust the length of the string: 1. 　Slightly loosen and shift the knot. Once the length is determined, tighten the knot. Just tightening it weakly is enough to use it without loosening it. (If you tighten it too tightly, the string will break.) How to adjust the length of the string 2. 　Open the ring fitting (pull ring) and remove one of the clasps. Pass it through the loop of elastic string and re-fasten it to the ring fitting. The length will be approximately halved.
