/ Paper Dreams of Romantic Moments Together / I've always felt that focusing on papermaking is a romantic endeavor. From collecting materials, processing fibers, to the sheets being formed and dried, each step involves dedication and craftsmanship, resulting in a product that feels inherently romantic and gentle. I aspire to capture the romantic stories of the papermakers at the Splashing Wave Paper Studio through illustrations. The frothy waves created when mixing fibers, the moments of the papermakers' flushed faces focused on forming the sheets, the sleepy cat manager 'Lang Lang', and 'Hua Hua' with its firm grip on the paper, all become subjects for my art. These illustrations are printed on handmade paper, upcycled from 'Golden Red Envelope' recycled paper, to tell the beautiful story of paper. The paper studio, with its expansive glass windows facing Lion Rock, offers a pleasant view that allows one to lose track of time.
