Bracelet with Antique Indigo Blue Java Beads, Indian Silver Flower Charms, Curved Karen Silver, and Green-Blue Beads

This bracelet is crafted by connecting antique indigo blue Java beads, Indian silver flower charms, and curved Karen silver with green-blue beads. The beautifully hued beads are antique beads excavated from Java. These beads date back to approximately the 7th to 11th centuries. Over time, the surface has developed a charming texture with subtle undulations, giving it a unique character. The colors are exquisite, evoking the feeling of gazing at the sky from the bottom of a lake – beautiful and captivating. As these are antique items, they may show signs of age, such as minor scratches, but they remain perfectly suitable for everyday wear. While this type of bead often exhibits numerous scratches and chips, these particular beads are in relatively good condition, showcasing their inherent beauty. *A small pit mark, approximately 1mm, is visible. (Antique Java bead size: 1.4cm height x 1.4cm width) The small, flower-like charms are made of Indian silver, creating a delightful impression of tiny blossoms. The curved Karen silver pieces, while substantial in appearance, are hollow, making them surprisingly lightweight. They are intricately engraved with patterns resembling flowers and the sun. Even the smaller beads and the hook clasp are crafted from stamped Karen silver. The small beads nestled between the blue-green beads, shaped like little buns, are also adorned with floral engravings. ◇ Karen Silver ◇ This silver is crafted by the Karen people, a hill tribe residing in the Thai-Burmese border region. Each piece is handcrafted, and the silver is renowned for its exceptionally high purity. The green-blue beads are antique beads known as Indo-Pacific beads. The origins of beads called Indo-Pacific beads are believed to date back to the 2nd century BCE. These particular beads were excavated in Indonesia and astonishingly belong to the 10th century, making them over 1000 years old. As with any antique item, there are minor scratches. If they appear to dry out and turn whitish, applying a tiny amount of baby oil with your hands can help prevent this. This bracelet looks incredibly stylish when layered with silver accessories. While size adjustments are possible, the unique shape of the curved Karen silver may limit the ability to achieve a perfect fit for all desired sizes.
