When not wearing, it's recommended to clean, dry, and store in a zip-lock bag. Hot springs (sulfur springs) can cause silver to turn yellow or black. Other sulfur-containing substances will also discolor silver due to sulfidation. It is not recommended to wear silver jewelry while showering, swimming, soaking in hot springs, or exercising. Silver is a soft metal. Please do not pull silver chains forcefully. Avoid rubbing back and forth with a polishing cloth. **14K Gold-Filled (also known as 14K Gold Plated):** This refers to US-made 1/20 14K Gold Filled, abbreviated as 14KGF. The 1/20 indicates that the 14K gold content constitutes 5% of the total weight. GF products are manufactured under high temperature and pressure, enveloping the entire base metal alloy core. The thickness and bonding are superior to electroplating. The outer layer of K gold has high hardness and wear resistance, and it will not peel off. However, due to individual wearing habits and other factors, the outer 14K gold layer may wear down or change color. Similar to sterling silver jewelry, 14KGF can also oxidize and change color. It is recommended to remove jewelry when swimming, exercising, or soaking in hot springs. After wearing, it's recommended to lather some body wash in your palm with water, gently rub the chain in your hand, rinse thoroughly with clean water, dry, and let it air dry completely before storing in a zip-lock bag. Most 14KGF jewelry features adjustable clasps; please do not pull forcefully to avoid loosening the clasp. If a Taiwanese Jadeite appraisal certificate is required, we can assist with the appraisal and issuance of a certificate. Our company entrusts the appraisal and certificate issuance to the reputable and experienced China Gemstone Consultants Ltd. in Taipei City (TCC). The fee for proxy appraisal is NT$2,000, which includes the certificate fee and the courier service fee. The issuance of the appraisal certificate takes approximately 3 working days and will be shipped together with your purchased item. If the appraisal result is not Grade A natural jadeite, you will not incur any fees.
