It is based on the traditional century-old rush weaving technique and a recently developed "Floral Chaos" embossed pattern. The interplay of hollowed-out sections and solid, three-dimensional impact, coupled with cylindrical handles, elegantly presents a new form of rush weaving. A thick, Taiwan-made cotton cloth is used as the inner lining for enhanced durability, and the handles are reinforced for load-bearing capacity. This rush basket is deeply rooted in the beauty of local culture, carrying the essence of everyday life. Entirely handwoven from rush, the basket is available in two sizes to accommodate various needs. In 1947, grandfather Guo Xi-quan founded it with products woven from Taiwanese rush. After the third generation joined, they named the studio after their grandfather, continuing his passion for weaving. At Si Cyuan, the third-generation weaver and her mother are joined by a group of grandmothers and aunts who deeply love weaving. Together, they preserve traditional culture and develop innovative designs. The third generation of Si Cyuan weaves the rich culture of their hometown, carrying on authentic craftsmanship. The simple, handmade texture is a gift from nature and an expression of their love for home.
