Burmese Antique Millennia Copper Alloy Open Bangle - Bracelet - Carnelian Water Pattern Bead

Burmese antique copper alloy open bangle. Adorned with a single thousand-year-old carnelian water pattern bead. It will gleam brighter with wear, acquiring a texture akin to 14k gold. These antique metal artifacts originated from within stupas. Upon their removal, many exhibited significant oxidation. Before being brought to Taiwan for sale by antique dealers, they were professionally treated. The outermost layer of age-induced corrosion and oxidation was meticulously hand-polished away. According to a wholesale dealer, these antique bangles are worn by both men and women in Myanmar. Men's sizes tend to be larger. The age is estimated at a millennium. However, based on my personal experience collecting and researching ancient Tibetan copper, I would conservatively estimate their age to be around 300-500 years. Later, I acquired another batch of unearthed copper rings in their original state, displaying red and yellow rust from the soil layers, to green patina on the exterior. After discussing them with Brother Dai from the Chinese Historical Artifacts Association, who possesses considerable expertise in bronze ware, it was confirmed that these copper rings are at least a thousand years old. Inner circumference: 18 cm. A suitable size for women. Authentic antique pieces are becoming scarce, and the wholesale price has doubled recently.... Alas.... If this were a Tibetan copper artifact, a single copper ring could easily cost tens of thousands of yuan. Please note: The copper opening ring is brittle.
