Born into a family renowned for Kutani-ware, Yamachika grew up immersed in its artistry. From the world depicted through Kutani's five traditional colors—red, green, purple, yellow, and blue—he discovered the beauty of color and learned the techniques of free expression, forging a fantastical and unique worldview. Comes with a pure cotton fan bag crafted using the traditional Takashima crinkle-weave technique, passed down since the Edo period, and a rigid fan case.
