[@inabluemoon2023] Once in a blue moon curated selections~ 1970s Seiko Women's Watch, Manual Wind, Engraved Silver-Plated Case, Daini Seikosha Exquisite dial and strap in good condition. The original elastic metal strap has removable links to shorten the length (or it can be directly replaced with a leather strap). WGP stainless steel silver-plated case, 10-3580 movement, manual wind, running for 24 hours on a full wind. Dial dimensions: 1.2 cm * 2.2 cm Strap width: 0.75 cm The lightning bolt and swirl motifs on the 1970s Seiko dial actually represent two major Seiko factories of the time. Watches marked with the "lightning bolt" were produced by Seiko's "Daini Seikosha" (Second Seiko Works), while those with the "swirl" were from "Suwa Seikosha". In 1881, Mr. Kintaro Hattori established "K Hattori" watch shop in Tokyo's Higashi-Hashi district, primarily for clock repair and resale. In 1892, Mr. Hattori acquired a closed glass factory in Tokyo and founded Seikosha, focusing on clock manufacturing. In 1913, Seikosha officially produced its first wristwatch, the Laurel. In 1937, Seiko established Daini Seikosha in Kameido, Tokyo, specifically responsible for the research, development, and production of wristwatches. In 1959, the Suwa factory of Daini Seikosha and Daiwa Kogyo officially merged, spinning off Suwa Seikosha. From then on, the two major Seiko factories each created one classic after another, such as the first domestic dive watch (6217), the first automatic chronograph (6139), and the first mass-produced quartz watch (Seiko Astron), not to mention the iconic GS and KS series.
