Because the fabric is woven using a shuttle machine in Kurashiki that is over 100 years old, there are inevitably marks called "weaving marks" which at first glance look like fraying. This is something that cannot be prevented when using old machines, but we continue to make efforts such as thorough inspection at the factory, avoiding it as much as possible when cutting the fabric, and using it in an inconspicuous place if we find it. However, it is also a characteristic of the machines, so we cannot eliminate it completely.
