Neutral detergent refers to one with a pH of 7 and *without* strong, stain-removing, color-brightening, or whitening agents. 4. It is recommended to dilute the detergent with water before adding it to the washing machine. Pouring it directly onto the fabric may cause localized fading. 5. Natural dye fabrics may have a slight odor, which will gradually dissipate with multiple washes. 6. As natural dye fabrics are used more, the color will slightly fade, developing a unique character over time. 7.
