While fragile and susceptible to water damage in its raw state, we apply multiple layers of coating and drying, resulting in beautiful, firm, and lustrous beads that retain the texture of paper. The subtle patterns, hues, and cutting methods of the paper yield a wide variety of "Shizu" beads. We meticulously select the most beautiful ones from our collection to craft our accessories. The "Fukufuku Neko" beads are crafted using elegant Yuzen chiyogami paper, known for its vibrant colors and beautiful gold leaf patterns. They maintain their shape over time, becoming firm – almost like ceramics – yet remain exceptionally lightweight, ensuring comfort when worn. Furthermore, each bead's hole is reinforced with an eyelet or metal fitting, ensuring a robust and long-lasting accessory. While the outer layer is coated multiple times with acrylic resin for some water resistance, they cannot be washed. Although the inside of the bead holes is lightly coated, if water happens to come into contact with them, please wipe them immediately and allow them to dry thoroughly. * Although "Shizu" beads are coated with acrylic resin to enhance durability, they may get scratched or lose their luster if rubbed vigorously. Please handle them with care. After use, gently wipe them with a cloth like one used for cleaning glasses and store them to maintain their luster. * All our products are handmade. Furthermore, "Shizu" beads are not uniform in shape or color, so please enjoy them as one-of-a-kind creations. While we take the utmost care in crafting and packaging each item, please understand that they may not have the perfect uniformity or packaging of mass-produced goods. * The coating for "Shizu" beads uses acrylic resin.
