About the Author:
Illustrating Picture Books and Writing Stories _ About Li Chin-lun
Since the publication of "Zi Er, Tu Tu" in 1993, Li Chin-lun has remained dedicated to the world of publishing.
Her love for animals is well-known, and she firmly believes that creation is the first step towards understanding between humans and animals.
From picture books and illustrated books to cultural and creative products and physical stores, she begins with creation. Through her "Never Let Go Mid-way" and "To the Ends of the Earth" postcard series, she communicates with the world, aspiring for a world filled with love.
"Animals" have always been at the core of her creations. She describes animals as "lives with a destined companionship" and the "origin of creation, where the heart resides."
In 2022, she founded the "Wuweijiao Animal School," developing "Exercises for Loving Animals" and launching the animal-friendly educational platform, the Wuweijiao Animal School official website, where teachers, parents, and children can download teaching materials to practice understanding and companionship in their daily lives.
She graduated with a Master's degree in Communication Design, specializing in Illustration, from the Royal College of Art in the UK in 1999.
She has received awards such as the China Times Openbook Award for Best Children's Book of the Year, Eslite's "Writer of the Year," the American New York Marion Vannett Ridgway Memorial Award, and Amazon's Best Books for Editors' Picks for Ages 2-6.
The Wuweijiao Animal School, founded by her, has also received the Golden Pin Design Award in Taiwan in 2022, the iF Design Award in Germany in 2023, and the Good Design Award in Japan in 2024.

"As I drew the dogs' portraits, my heart warmed.
After twenty years, even though I wanted to draw dogs with the same strokes, it felt like I couldn't return to that easy simplicity.
But I told myself, this is a gift from time." — Author Li Chin-lun
