CABF ZINE — Culture and Art Book Fair Zine

This is a textual record of the Culture & Art Book Fair, documenting the possibilities of the first Taiwan-Japan book exchange in Taiwan in 2017. The event, planned and executed by haveAnice, invited interesting domestic and international authors to meet and exchange creations through print. It expanded the imagination of what a market event in Taiwan could be. Beyond the many differences and similarities in Taiwanese and Japanese culture, the core focus was on human encounters. Particularly, prior to the market, interesting texts were published on the online platform "Have Quality Read" (有質讀誌). During the second edition held at the end of 2017, the main visual was designed by the editor-in-chief of "Our Magazine" (咱誌) and illustrator Janeni Chen. This publication was specifically proposed, included, and published in book form. The aim is to create a physical paper record of meaningful events that have happened in Taiwan, and to serve as a wellspring for those who aspire to create in the future.
