ARSENAL PLANT, KIEV, 1977 ORIGINAL INSTRUCTION MANUAL ON RUSSIAN FOR KIEV-4 & KIEV-4A RANGEFINDER CAMERAS ABOUT ITEM'S ORIGIN (You can SKIP it!) Cameras "KIEV" have been produced since 1947 at Arsenal plant (the city of Kiev, Soviet Union). It was just a copies of Zeiss Contax cameras and first issues were based at genuine Zeiss Contax parts. Initial kinds of Kiev from 2 to 3 model are most close clones of Contax cameras and even named Kiev-II and Kiev-III same with Contax models. High reliability, excellent optics, capability to shoot at low temperature (it can work in a Russian froze!), presence of exchangeable lens - these are the conditions defined the usage of these cameras for pro-shooting during more than 40 years. Latest Kiev-4 cameras with index "M" are slightly improved in comparison with old models: the head of shutter speeds is more pretty in using , "hot shoe" according with usual PC flash connecting, film rewind head with a handle (crank), the lens with better resolution than old Jupiter-8 2.0:50mm, but first time cameras completed by both type of the lens. TECHNICAL FEATURES * The booklet is original manufacturer's manual on Russian. * The booklet consist of 23 pages with 23 pictures and describes basic operations with Kiev-4 & Kiev-4A cameras. * The booklet is printed on high quality coated paper with nice black-&-white photos. * The booklet have the size 14.5x10.5 cm (5.7x4.2 inch). * The booklet was printed at Vneshtorgizdat in USSR at Moscow city in 1977 for Mashpriborintorg. Mashpriborintorg is special department which exported cameras and different devices from USSR to other countries.
