Natural-colored leather gradually transforms from a light skin tone to a caramel hue. Dyed leathers typically deepen by one to two shades. The final color can vary depending on environmental temperature and the natural oils from your hands, meaning each piece develops uniquely! Chrome-Tanned Leather: Tanned using chromium salts, it has a stronger scent but a softer feel. Colors are applied as a coating, and grain patterns are often pressed on, resulting in a more uniform and durable finish that is resistant to dirt. Our brand primarily uses vegetable-tanned leather, which features natural, irregular grain patterns. These patterns may become more apparent with use, showcasing the unique characteristics of vegetable-tanned leather. If you prefer strictly uniform patterns, please consider the leather type carefully. **Care Instructions** Leather is not water-resistant. Avoid wearing it while bathing or submerging it in water. If accidental contact with water occurs, gently pat the excess water dry with a clean cloth and allow it to air dry in a well-ventilated area (do not use a fan or hairdryer). Water can strip natural oils, compromising the leather's protective qualities. You can use leather conditioner (mink oil) as a remedy, or you can send the item back to us for re-oiling and maintenance. To prevent damage, avoid storing seldom-used leather items in damp, dark places. Remember to air them out quarterly and apply a light coat of conditioner.
