This method is mostly used for weaving a round shaped piece, with the surface is slightly concaved. It could be paired with a round pottery underneath as a somen or soba plate, the small holes on it allows dripping off the excessive moisture from the noodles. Enjoy the noodles with a dipping sauce served in a inoguchi cup.
