"Floating Waves" depicts the subtle undulation of the water's surface with its flowing, undulating silhouette. The semi-transparent patterned glass, when illuminated, casts intricate textures, imbuing the object with a light and serene play of light and shadow within a space. Integrating the Begonia and cross-patterned glass from traditional Taiwanese homes, the openwork structure forms the object's shape, showcasing the characteristics of inlaid craftsmanship. The collection features 5 pieces, paired with 2 types of Taiwanese-themed patterned glass, offering a variety of styles. Each piece of glass is hand-cut, resulting in slight variations in pattern distribution. In 2026, these pieces were simultaneously selected for the "TGC Taiwan Green Craft" and "TCOD Taichung Original Design" awards. A central test-tube design allows the vase to hold flowers while maintaining an overall sense of lightness.
