Foreword This story took some time to prepare, with careful consideration given to the pairings and diligent effort put into the photography. Each piece is unique, and each piece is one of a kind. Here's the story behind them: On our last day in Siem Reap, I took a morning stroll through the nearby French Quarter and noticed a shop selling local specialties. As soon as I stepped inside, I was drawn to them, unable to look away. The glazes were rich yet tasteful, showcasing the colors of fine pigments. The porcelain-like finish and luster were perfectly balanced. Each complete piece possessed its own unique beauty, like a miniature Angkor Wat, exuding exotic charm—lovely and distinctive. It was love at first sight. The shop assistant patiently explained that they were produced locally, using local materials. Back at our guesthouse, with little hope, I asked our driver if it would be possible to visit their studio on our final day. The driver replied, "It's just ten meters from our guesthouse!" As we rang the doorbell, I saw their logo, inlaid with their unique material on the wall, and I was as overjoyed as a bouncing puppy. We were even welcomed to experience their handmade process step-by-step! At dusk on that final day, as the lingering sunlight shimmered on the tranquil pool, I scattered the stones around for a photoshoot.
