This RED TORNADO reproduction is inspired by the classic cruiser oilskin jacket. Originally designed in the 1920s for forest rangers working in the cold, damp climates of the Pacific Northwest, the oilskin fabric provided protection from thorns and abrasion, along with water-repellent features, making it both practical and warm. Later, Cole Hauser, who plays Rip Wheeler in Yellowstone, was often seen wearing this very jacket on the show, cementing its status as a truly iconic piece. This jacket is made from 14oz heavy-duty canvas, with a weight close to the original, offering a dense yet not overly heavy feel. The fabric's characteristic tight weave provides excellent durability. The exterior is treated with a scratch-free oil wax finish, recreated by our team, offering water-repellency suitable for light rain. The interior is lined with 6oz cotton canvas. Custom-made, reinforced buttons are used for the hardware. The waist features adjustable buckles for a personalized fit, and the pockets are generously sized. The left chest pocket has a button closure, while the right side includes a slot designed for stationery or tools. The details remain faithful to the original, and each piece is handcrafted individually. We hope you'll love it.
