On the quest for corrugated metal backdrops: Upon closer observation of the corrugated metal structures surrounding us, I discovered a surprising variety of types! This photography project inspired me to notice the beauty of various corrugated metals in every corner of Taiwan ♡ There are a hundred shades of red alone: Reds ranging from a youthful blush to a deep liver color, Reds that instantly evoke the vibrancy of young corrugated metal, Reds weathered and mottled by the passage of time, And reds that are the perfect hue but insufficient in area to serve as a backdrop 😂 The complexities of these internal deliberations are not for you to decide, nor are they as simple as what the eye can perceive. Mo'er's standards for selecting the "right" red are quite stringent! (An inexplicable persistence with an unclear motive?) The location where this semi-circular red corrugated metal was discovered is the red metal outside the small Tudigong temple downstairs from the studio~ Although the lighting in this spot is slightly insufficient, I appreciate its wider-than-usual spacing and vertical orientation, which offers a subtle contrast to metals of other colors. Considering the aesthetic harmony of the four-color series displayed together, I truly felt fortunate during the shooting process!
