Embroidered patches are commonly known as fabric patches, iron-on patches, or embroidered appliqués. However, most require ironing to adhere them to fabric materials or to cover holes in clothing. Our embroidered patches feature an adhesive backing that sticks without ironing, making them suitable for smooth, non-fabric surfaces. They're ideal as stickers for water bottles, phone cases, laptops, notebooks, pencil cases, helmets, luggage, and more. Let's get creative and make something unique! 🏷 How do I use the embroidered patches? Using our embroidered patches is simple! ▪️ For smooth, non-fabric surfaces: Just peel off the backing and stick. No ironing needed, and they hold securely. ▪️ For fabric surfaces: Preheat your iron to 150°C (300°F). Place a pressing cloth over the patch to protect the embroidery threads from direct heat. Iron for 20-25 seconds, then let it cool completely to ensure a firm bond. For extra durability, we recommend reinforcing with needle and thread. If you don't have an iron, sewing by machine or hand will also secure the patch firmly to fabric. 🏷 What if the fabric can't be ironed or I'm unsure if it can be ironed? For materials that cannot be ironed (e.g., down jackets, nylon, leather, waterproof fabrics) or if you're uncertain, we recommend sewing the patch on by machine or hand. This avoids potential damage from high heat. 🏷 How strong is the adhesive? Will it fall off easily? Our embroidered patches have ample adhesive strength for smooth, non-fabric surfaces, making them resistant to peeling. For fabric applications (like clothing, pants, hats, etc.), ironing and sewing are recommended to enhance durability. 🏷 Will the embroidered patches come off after washing? Once ironed and reinforced with sewing, the patches can withstand machine washing without easily coming off. We suggest washing them inside out in a laundry bag. 🏷 Can embroidered patches be reapplied? The adhesive on our patches is designed for single use and cannot be reapplied. We recommend deciding on the placement before applying. If you remove a patch, the fabric surface can still be sewn onto fabric for decorative purposes. 🏷 Will there be adhesive residue after removing the patch? Due to their strong adhesion, some residue may remain after removal. This can be cleaned with sticker removers or adhesive solvents. Please test the remover on an inconspicuous area first to ensure it doesn't damage your item's surface.
