รายละเอียดสินค้า

<Unique Beauty That Brings You Happiness, One of a Kind in the World> In the past, when people living in Watari, Miyagi Prefecture, gave gifts, they would place them in a "bag" made from leftover fabric of old kimonos. For instance, it might have been a liter of rice, given as a celebration or a return gift. It didn't have a fixed name and was called "fukuro" (bag), which eventually softened into "fuguro." "FUGURO" is a reproduction and remake of this old, traditional custom. The materials used are kimono fabrics with auspicious patterns, carefully selected from thousands of kimonos that have been stored away. Each piece is meticulously crafted by hand, with a wish for happiness sewn into every stitch for the person who receives it. Experience a graceful tradition of returning favors, by wrapping and gifting precious items, with gratitude sewn into the product. We deliver a unique beauty that brings you happiness, one of a kind in the world. Enjoy the beautiful stitching that is pleasing to the eye, created using two colors of thread to match the colors of the outer and inner fabrics. <Japanese Gift> As the materials are kimono fabrics, a symbol of Japanese culture, these items are popular as souvenirs for bringing overseas or as gifts for foreign visitors. They are compact and convenient to carry. An explanation card with both Japanese and English text is included. <Auspicious Patterns Symbolizing Happiness> These are auspicious patterns used as "symbols of happiness" that bring good fortune. Understanding the meanings of these traditional Japanese patterns connects you to the profound depth of Japanese culture passed down through the ages. <Chrysanthemum Pattern> Symbolizes "Longevity," "Wish for Rejuvenation," and "Wish for Good Health." Chrysanthemums were believed to have anti-aging properties and were used medicinally. They are considered the king of a hundred herbs and a symbol of longevity. <Autumn Leaf Pattern> Symbolizes "Improvement in Skills" and "Success in Love." A pattern favored by warriors, as the shape of the leaves resembles a rooster's comb, signifying "conquering the world." It also carries a wish for success in love, as autumn leaves change color during the deer's mating season. <Seigaiha Pattern> Symbolizes "Improvement in Skills" and "Eternal Prosperity." The wave pattern signifies a wish for eternal prosperity, as waves continue endlessly. [Size] Height 27.5cm x Width 26cm x Depth 6cm [Material] Outer fabric: Kimono fabric / Lining: Cotton, etc. <Notes on Purchase> * As all items are handmade, please understand that each piece is unique, with slight variations in size, shape, and pattern. * In rare cases, if we obtain kimono fabric in excellent condition, multiple items may be produced from the same fabric. Please note that the pattern placement may differ slightly from the photograph due to the cutting position of the fabric. * Please understand that the color and texture may appear different from the actual product due to variations in screen display. If you have any concerns, please contact us or refrain from purchasing. * Since the kimono fabrics used as materials are often used items and may not be labeled, the material is frequently unspecified. After thorough inspection and processing such as washing, we remake them. Depending on the fabric, color may bleed or shrink when wet, so please handle with great care. * As these items are also sold on other sites, please forgive us in the event of a sell-out.
