A bracelet composed of two types of ancient metal beads. Inner circumference 15cm. 1- Charm-dotting Bronze Ritual Dzi Beads (2 pieces). One of each length. These bronze alloy beads have a peculiar appearance, covered in markings resembling charm-dots that are said to be imprinted after millions of mantras have been chanted in Tibet. The specific name is unknown... However, research reveals similar artifacts were found in mainland China in 2017. They were named "Charm-dotting Bronze Ritual Dzi Beads" there. Large-scale bead merchants say they have been out of stock for many years. It was only this year that we encountered them again... And brought them back to Taiwan at a high price. 2- Charm beads drilled from a collapsed pagoda in Mandalay, Myanmar (14 pieces). The average maximum diameter is between 0.9-0.95cm. These are Daron charm beads in the form of prayer beads. They have been cleaned to remove oxidation and patina. These are bronze alloy charm beads, containing gold, though not in a high proportion. Cinnabar was smelted together with them during their creation. The beads appear bright yellow in photos, but will oxidize and dim over time if not polished and maintained. They are estimated to be from the 18th-19th century. These prayer bead-style charm beads were typically part of a string of 108 beads placed in pagodas...
