While soaking in saltwater is a commonly mentioned method, some crystals and metals are delicate and can be harmed by salt or water, so Joyce personally does not recommend this approach. If you have white/purple crystal chips, a geode, or a cluster, you can place your crystals directly on or within them when not being worn. Of course, the purification chips, geodes, and clusters themselves also need regular cleansing, which can be done through sun exposure or moonlight exposure. Joyce finds **smoke cleansing** to be the most effective method! You can light sacred wood, dried cedar leaves, dried sage leaves, or incense, and **use the smoke for purification**.
