We recommend dry cleaning or hand washing separately (do not soak). If machine washing, please place the garment in a laundry bag and wash. Air dry naturally after washing. We suggest washing dark and light-colored clothes separately and avoiding bleach. Wrinkles are a normal phenomenon for natural linen materials after washing. Gently smooth the garment after washing and air dry, then iron at a high temperature to restore its flatness. About Comme forêt: We begin with a foundation of natural and fresh style apparel. Our process involves original design, pattern making, prototyping, and modifications using two home sewing machines, sometimes with the assistance of a skilled seamstress aunt. Production is done in very small batches locally in Taipei, aiming to recapture the beauty of small-batch handmade clothing. We design comfortable and elegant garments, just as we would make clothes for ourselves, family, or friends, creating only pieces we would want to wear ourselves.
