Four-strand bracelet with antique multi-colored green seed beads, turquoise clasp

A four-strand bracelet made by connecting antique multi-colored green seed beads. The green beads are old seed beads that traveled to India. Each strand has a different hue, including indigo blue and deep green. These were worn as personal adornments for many years (around the 19th-20th century). (Bead size: 2mm) For the clasp, we used indigo blue Indopacific beads. These are antique beads known as Indopacific beads. The origin of Indopacific beads is said to date back to the 2nd century BC. These particular beads are excavated artifacts from Indonesia, dating back to the 10th century – over 1000 years old! The golden beads are old Orissa brass, rare and ancient beads from the state of Orissa in India. Each small Karen silver bead on the clasp is individually stamped! It's mind-boggling to think it's all done by hand... ◇ Karen Silver ◇ This is silver crafted by the mountain tribes living in Thai Burma. Each piece is handmade, and it's said to have a very high purity. The clasp is made of turquoise. (Turquoise size: 1.2cm diameter) Connected with waxed cord, it may feel slightly stiff at first but will become supple with wear. A soothing bracelet in all green.
